Little T

What a wonderful visit t little Trinity today!!! Lots of things to share - the photos are just a sampling of the visit - I loved the shepherd dress up centre and the window being used as a chart - not sure if you would be able to read the message on the window but it shows they focus the children on the stories. I think you might be able to see the characters at the bottom and what a view of the church!
Thank you Jessica!

Help needed in connecting with those who minister to children.

I am going through through the Diocesan website trying to find parishes that have children's ministry and/or church school. This is not an easy task! Help me connect with parishes with Sunday/church school and/or church school leaders!!!

storing materials for church school

Here is a great way to store materials for use in church school - makes use and transfer of materials a lot easier.

visiting church schools

It has been a very exciting and positive time for me while visiting various parishes in the Toronto Diocese to network with those who minister to our children. This very dedicated group of mostly volunteers have a passion for children and God's ministry and we are blessed as a communion to have them. I have learned that church school leaders and teachers would like to have a place to go to for additional training in how to perfect their skills in teaching our young ones. There is also a desire for a place to share successes and discuss options - a place to network and support each other. We have many talented and dedicated teachers in this ministry who are prepared to share and support others. This is what the CECE would like to help make happen.
If you would be open to having someone from CECE visit your parish to make connections and talk about how to build up the community of church school ministry please respond to this blog.
